The other highest grossing picture of 1982 was "Poltergeist" the only time that mega-producer Steven Spielburg teams up with the master of the horror genre Tobe Hooper(who directed it)about a family who unexpect a supernatural entity was a massive cult hit.
The theme score from film composer Jerry Goldsmith makes this worth while.
