a great film noir again following young actor joseph gordon levitt, after the exellent brick, here he plays a long suffering young man with no prospects after a car crash while in high school, and now 4 years later trying to cope with issues in his life,cleans the local bank, and a oportunity arises as he befriends some people wanting to take advantage of his situation in bank, very stylish, great performances all round especially gordon levitt, lots to play with, interesting story, leading to a conclusion, seen many times before, but bringing something a little fresh,

not set in london as title sugests, but newyork, and even more confusing as we open on a shot of central park, with london in ig letters. london is a girl, who a guy played by chris evans has feelings for after they split up, together with mate played by a respectable looking jason straithern( he wears a wig, and looks ordinary), go to her apartment where he trys to get back with the girl, together with flashbacks, showing how thsy came to be, interesting film, quite stagey, and lots of great dialogue, one scene in particular, showing straitherns acting skills, so a good little watch
