everyone from spaced makes a film, and keep there warm funy brit humour, a wining formula, paying homage to romero and his dead films, not taking piss out of remake of dawn of the dead, as some people i, know have pointed out, in pegg and frost a great double act, scary and funny, always a winning combination, and the level is right here, its a brilliant film anyway, but being a fan of there sitcom spaced, which also involved director edgar wright, its so mucch more entertaining, sometimes feels like a full lenth episode, keeping many elements that made that show great.

a charming tale set in 80s england concerning a young religious kid, not able to enjoy the trappings of youth due to the way of life, and a young tear away, full of trouble, the two meet up after a encounter, and the religious kid is introduced to the wonderful world of kids having fun, and especially john rambo,, and the film first blood, to say this film has a effect on the kid is a understatement, a new hero is in his life, he is brought in to help finish off the tearaway kids film, which hes preparing to send off for a tv compettion, and so first becomes the films stuntman, but as friendship grows, a more equal share of responsibilities are given, and over the course of the sumer a film will try to be made, and as they become popular through this, many people want in n it,
a very charming film, well directed by hammer and tongs, who was involved with hitchhikers guide to the galaxy, and many music videos, very well directed,with some great 80s looking sets and scenes of nostalgia, some great fantasy elements too, as the young kids imagination, is taken over by john rambo, the two kids are exellent, connecting very well, story movea along nicely, and even though it does fall into the usuall tragedy, soppyness in the end, its well handled, and also, ill admit, sad in places, also great to see stallone giving his support to this, letting various clips, and images to be used to get the concept across, a enjoyable film both for kids and adults
