A wonderfully original idea and possibly the best animated movie of last year. Very funny and the refences to other movies are classic! The singing slugs are truly a highlight and the voice acting is excellent. Aardman animation is definitely on my 'one to watch' list. Great fun. |

Just watched this for the 2nd time and WOW! Not normally my cup of tea, but what a well done, funny, sad, entertaining and enjoyable film. The voice work is great and the Phil Collins soundtrack is appropriate and touching. Great stuff. |

Great premise for a modern kids story and lots of fun, despite it's gaping flaws. Very much a rip off of the likes of 'Ice Age' and 'Over The Hedge', but still fun. Granny and Twitchy are good for a giggle. |
