william h macy plays a las vegas cooler, which is a person who has such bad luck, he gives off his bad luck to players, so a perfect role for macy then, hes great at playing down on there luck charactors, as a cooler hes pretty great, and t his boss, played by alek baldwyn, a great asset, that is when he meets a girl played by maria bello, and losses his bad luck, the asino takes a dive, and baldwyns boss, is not looking god anymore, something has to be done about macys good fortune, as usual macy brings a lot to this charactor, and he and bello are a great couple, a great alternative look to vegas, and very layed back, it does loose it self towards end a little bit, but overal a enjoyable film with macy once again proveing, hes one of the best actors around

another twisted tale from cronenberg, a very slow paced but exellent look at a man, leading a normal life, but a former life comes back to haunt him, viggo mortensen, in a exellent main role, along with maria bello, doing good work, but its ed harris in a supporting part, chewing up scenery in first half, that rises this films status for me, typical cronenberg in style and graphic violence, and told very unconventionally, was based on a graphic novel of the same name.

remake of pointblank, and gibsons handles himself quite well, dark humour with twisted violence, plays well, and mel looks like hes enjoying him self, as the good guy or the likeliest good guy in this film, as he plays a scum thief, out for him self, the film looks great also shot really grainy, with a lot of colour missing, and it suits well to over all film, no its no point blank that was a genuin classic, this is serious but also very comical in places, and seen throuout, this is definatly a film taking full advantage og gibson as sen in lethal weapon

pierce brosnan, hounds gerald butler and maria bello, who play a married couple, hes kidnapped there kid, and wants to mess with there head, doing various tasks that will ruin there lives as he has there daughter, brosnan is a bit muddled here, i think hes irish in this i cant tell, and butler is ok, but bello shines as the wife, some nice twists throuth the end half, as per usual with this type of film, but its kept interesting throughout
