Frost/Nixon (2008,  R)
Frost/Nixon
sheen as frost and langella as nixon are 2 great reasons to watch here, as a very famous british journalist, gets the oportunity to interview the disgraced former president, ron howard diects with a great eye for the period. the film goes along well, with a great insight into the events and organisation that took place, during the period, based on a stage play, you can see it come across on the screen

The Damned United (2009,  R)
The Damned United
mchael sheen isfasinating to watch as english football manager bryan clough, here looking at his days at derby, and leeds united, and his demons concerning him wanting to better leeds former boss, both at derby, and then when hetakes charge of leeds. the 60s and early 70s is recreated, the story while never going more than a tv movie, although released in theatres, isentertaining enough, and of course sheen shines, after playing, blair, frost, hes certainly making a name in this type role
3
The Queen (2006,  PG-13)
The Queen
being british, i think i have the right to sayi hate the queen, the person that is, and what she stands for, but i am someone who weill watch a film about anyone, so watched this like anyone else, i was shocked as well to see it nominated for a best film oscar along side the departed and united 93, as watching it, it never really gets above t.v movie of the week status, it doesent really feel far from that, but it is entertaining, depicting events from 1997, when diana princess of wales died in paris due to acar crash, here we deal with the queens emotions, or lack of them during these events, and tony blair, who just arriving in office with new labour, was testing times, especially since there seemed to be a national grief over events, events i remember well, and totally over the top, here we see the queen for what ive always suspected, a heartless soul, not showing signsof emotion at least in public, and trying to show events in private, it handles things well, while depicting her as heartless but also caring. helen mirren puts in a oscar winning performance as the queen, and also michael sheen as blir, getting him down to a t, so a film that hasent made me chang my opinion on the royals, or hate them even more
