evan rachael wood, bursts onyo the screen as trouble teen, getting in with the wrong crowd discovering her teen rebellion, as she gets in deep with fellow teen evie, played by nikki reed, who shows her what being a teen is really about, drink, underage sex, and various things, reed also wrote the script, and really getting under the skin of a teenager wih problems, evans wood went on to great things after this, playing some great roles dealing with teenage problems, and this is certainly her best, directed by catherin hardwicke, a great women director, great indie feel, very down and gritty, a film with great performances

here we follow jude, a guy from liverpool, who travels to newyork and gets involved with a group of people through the turmoil of the 60s and vietnam, but told through the songwriting and songs of the beatles, classed as a usical, many songs sang here, and interesting to see how the script was written through beatles songs, great moments of song, many set piecse, which look really cool, slickly directed, and dont know if itys just me, but, jim sturgess who plays jude, looks a lot like paul mcartney, even his actions, dont know how much thats intentional, but helps, the beatles were a major part of the 60s so, i think this is a very good idea, many times through this, the lyrics matched perfectly, especially hey jude at thre end, almost had a tear in my eye, and watch out for u2,s bono turning up singing i am the walrus, its actually good, the songs stand up even though its not lennon, mcartney singing them, a good watch

dark comedy heathers style here.
kimberly is a puplil who craves fame, and during the course of this film, will use all around her. along with her 2 friends, she very cunninly convinces them that they should report there teacher, for gross misconduct in the class room, there might be some truth to the alligations. and when they do, it leaks out to the local media, where a big fuss arupts, and the three kids might be deep over there head, this is a great look, at high school life, in america and the way media plays a role in the system, evan rachel wood is superb as kimberly, ever since thirteen, shes been doing great edgy indie roles, a very comical, but dark look at teen life, and a great charactor for her, you really dont wanna like this girl, theres lots of films if you liked youll love this, election, heathers, rushmore, cruel intentions, all play a role in inspiring this film, and its nice to see ron livingstone in a part, he was great in swingers and office space, and hes great as the teacher here, is he inocent the way the story is told you just dont know, another great american indie
