Conrad Hall's swan song could not have been better. Director Sam Mendes and DP Conrad Hall show depression era mobs in gritty realistic recreated Chicago, but the murders in this film can only be described as beautiful. The blend of death and beauty has never been done like this before and probably will never be done this well again.

A simple tale that will keep you entertained every time you sit down to watch this heartwarming and all around happy imaginative tale. The cinematography is astounding and the use of colour is genius. One of the best movies ever.

My favorite CGI film, but the animation has little to do with it. The story is so touching. I connect with the characters even though they aren't human. I can feel the human emotions from these animals. That is truly great storytelling.

The trailer was cool so I had high expectations and even with that this movie still blew me away. The characters are all very well developed and engaging. My favorite science-fiction movie of all time.

David Fincher is climbing the ranks of my favorite directors as he delivers another well put together movie. This time his serial killer tale is a true story and he shows the passage of time terrificly along with a great cast and a killer soundtrack (Donovan)! The most polished movie I have seen in a long time. Best film of 2007.

Here is a sequel that is overshadowed by it predecessor but still stands on its own as a great movie.

This movie is just flat out amazing. From the first scene you are intrigued. From then on you are constantly trying to understand but at the end all the questions have been answered. The final moments are just purely emotional- everyone can sympathize with the main character. A masterpiece and one of my all time favorite films.

Like almost everyone else I throughly enjoyed this movie. And Keira Knightley is in it!

A movie where the center is everywhere and the circumference is nowhere...and yet it all makes sense...and is hysterical.

My first Miyazaki film, and it blew me away. Now I have seen all of his films except Spirited Away. They are all good, but this remains his best work.

Funny and endearing at the same time. Even though sound had become popular by this time Chaplin stuck to silent films and was not only successful but also made memorable films that are still enjoyed even today.

We still laugh at these films today. Chapin knew how to write timeless films.

I love this movie emphasizing family.
