Truth-Seekers
Great 'truth-seeking' documentaries that illuminate the existing inhumane elements of our ancient and modern societies. Watch these films to spark interest in worthwhile issues, then research their truthful validity, as I have.

America: Freedom To Fascism (2006, Unrated)
This documentary is director Aaron Russo's last attempt to reveal the American government's tyranny on its citizens before he succumbed to cancer in summer 2007. After watching this film, I strongly agree with his true message (following my own corroborating research) and solidly stand in favor of his cause. |

TerrorStorm: A History of Government-Sponsored Terrorism (2006, Unrated)
Director Alex Jones' documentary reveals several declassified government intelligence reports that have exposed American, British, Israeli and German 'false flag' attacks on their own citizens. |

Sicko (2007, PG-13)
Moore's documentaries always leave me positively enraged at the classic American ethic. So much critical healthcare discussion truly opened my eyes to better economies. |

Root of All Evil? (2006, Unrated)
A highly informative 2-part documentary which highlights the DEFINITE flaws in our world's religions. Richard Dawkins scientifically disproves many religious myths (purported by the church as facts) - with an emphasis on Creationism vs Evolutionism (1st half). The 2nd half is incredibly powerful, since Dawkins cleanly outlines the role of religion as a motivation for 'religiously-validated' rape, female oppression, genocidal war, and territorial theft between races (backed up by scriptural evidence). |

The Lost Tomb of Jesus (2007, Unrated)
Executive producer James Cameron, archaeologists Dr James Tabor and Simcha Jacobovici went to great lengths to bring this documentary to the public, yet a worldwide system of religions refuses to give recognition to this simple fact: Jesus was A MAN (not the son of 'god') who had a family his wife Mary Magdalene. The Israeli government even displays their intent to cover up the archaeologists' findings in support of the existing myth with which the entire world is accustomed to. |

The Exodus Decoded (2006, Unrated)
Best documentary to tackle the Exodus phenomenon of the enslaved Israelites during their escape from pharaoh Ahmose. Its extremely rewarding to view a believable account of the Biblical tale, from a skeptic's standpoint. |

Grass (2000, R)
Woody Harrelson effectively narrates this documentary which exposes America's propaganda-laden war on marijuana. Although the musical score is less than spectacular, I appreciate the truth-seeking information as it's objectively projected. |

Manson (1973, Unrated)
As the flower child movement of the late '60s began to fade, many free-loving youngsters sought worry-free refuge within social communes. Charles Manson, using a dangerous mixture of intoxicants and clever manipulation, invoked the potential to create his own 'Family' circle. By raiding restaurant and grocery store dumpsters, they ate like lower-class kings and queens. From his feel-good doctrines and seductive music, Manson's followers took on his twisted personality. Just like a sadistic tribe, Manson issued orders to his followers (male and female) to pillage, maim, torture, and terrify the Californian middle-to-upper class. This documentary chronicles the events leading up to, and following, the Tate and La Bianca murders - even taking first-hand testimony from various pivotal members of the Manson Family. His prostitution ring enabled the Family to take on new followers, gradually birthing children and raising them in Charlie's image. By following the Family in their everyday routine, we catch a lengthy glimpse of America's most controversial cult leader. |

Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room (2005, R)
I strongly vouch for the content and delivery of the information relayed in this fantastic documentary. Not only are many Enron executives implicated in thunderous cases of severe corruption, but high-ranking officials of the Bush government and the 'Big 5' banks are directly linked. With Dick Cheney's decision to appoint Ken Lay as the Secretary of Energy (under George W Bush) and Jeff Skilling's presentation of an achievement award to Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan, I'm certain that the expose could have lasted several more hours. |

Triage: Dr. James Orbinski's Humanitarian Dilemma (2008, Unrated)
Dr Orbinski's humanitarian efforts in genocide-stricken Somalia and Zaire are the basis for his documentary, which aired at Sundance '08. The relationships he's forged with patients in need, fellow physicians, NGO ambassadors and fallen comrades are very genuine. |

Jesus Camp (2006, PG-13)
This documentary follows many unmolded young minds as they submit themselves to a tour of Christian camps and events. Such a lengthy glimpse into the Christian American fundamentalist child movement is unsettling and infuriating. |

For the Bible Tells Me So (2007, Unrated)
An in-depth series of polite interviews chronicling the history, personal struggles, and impact of Bible-fueled homophobia. It offers plenty of 'queer-friendly' support, with many modern interpretations on the Christian/Catholic faith. |

Zeitgeist: Addendum (2008, Unrated)
An excellent continuation of the most eye-opening documentary of my generation. By focusing mainly on the distresses of the 'monetary system', several influential industries are portrayed as saboteurs of technological progress. |
