Good action, clever sight gags, interesting complications and goes all out on bat with batmania. The acting is uniformly impressively improbable of the 1960s.

This is my first Muppets movie when I was a kid. The songs are great and the gags are well up to scratch too. Great fun.

Star Trek III - The Search for Spock (1984,  PG)
Star Trek III - The Search for Spock
I'm not really a fan of Star Trek - the sci-fi series suck.

Star Trek IV - The Voyage Home (1986,  PG)
Star Trek IV - The Voyage Home
Really boring sci-fi.
31
Dragnet (1987,  PG-13)
Dragnet
Dan Aykroyd and Tom Hanks are good fun as the straight-by-the-book cop and his rather looser partner in this spoof film.
32
The Untouchables (1987,  R)
The Untouchables
Amazing cops vs gangsters movie as I like Sean Connery in this film who acts as gnarled cop.
33
The Naked Gun - From the Files of Police Squad! (1988,  PG-13)
The Naked Gun - From the Files of Police Squad!
Former straight actor Leslie Nielsen is so hilarious as an incompetent cop Frank Derbin. Pratfalls, slapstick, gags old and even older, jostle for position in this zany, fast-paced comedy.
34
Tales from the Darkside: The Movie (1990,  R)
Tales from the Darkside: The Movie
Nicely gruesome set of horror stories. But the segment of "Cat from Hell" frightened me very seriously.

36
The Naked Gun 2 1/2: The Smell of Fear (1991,  PG-13)
The Naked Gun 2 1/2: The Smell of Fear
The wacky sequel of based on TV comed series' Police Squad is outrageously and hilarious funny. This film lacks the zip of the original, but it's still a nutty romp.

48
The Naked Gun 33 1/3: the Final Insult (1994,  PG-13)
The Naked Gun 33 1/3: the Final Insult
The third Naked Gun is a non-stop onslaught of inspired gags that concludes a franchise with good sense to quite while it's ahead... unlike it's silver haired star.
49
Police Rescue (1994,  Unrated)
Police Rescue
After TV drama series straight into a feature film with the familiar stars' characters and a new sexy co-star Zoe Carides. The very impressive stunt work of the rescue team as they scale these impossible surfaces remains as exhilarating as ever. I like the final rescue of little kids who are taken hostage by a suicidal father at an entire kindergarten. You can see actress Cate Blanchett appeared her debut in this film as a kindergarten teacher.
50
Maverick (1994,  PG)
Maverick
Mel Gibson's really funny in his first western movie of TV series remake.
51
Car 54, Where Are You? (1994,  PG-13)

Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight (1995,  R)
53
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers - The Movie (1995,  PG)
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers - The Movie
The film version of children's fantasy adventure series sucks because the heroes and villians' fight / martial arts sequences and actings look worst.

The Brady Bunch Movie (1995,  PG-13)

Mission Impossible (1996,  PG-13)

66
The Saint (1997,  PG-13)
The Saint
Val Kilmer is terrific as 'The Saint' in this non-stop spy thrills.
67
Leave It to Beaver (1997,  PG)
Leave It to Beaver
The 1997 TV adaptation movie combines countless themes and storylines from various episodes of the original series, a technique that is enjoyable and funny. The actors are great, and it is wonderful to see some of TV series' cast making cameos in this film.
68
Bean (1997,  PG-13)
Bean
This slapstick comedy is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen that I couldn't stop laughing. Rowan Atkinson's acting is beyond excellent since in his TV series, and all of the other characters are good as well.
There is a wonderful scene, for example, where Bean sneezes on the painting of Whistler's Mother, and then he tries to wipe off the spray with his handkerchief, which has been smeared with a leaky pen. So the painting gets smeared with ink, and he grabs the first can he sees off a nearby shelf, which happens to be paint thinner. It cleans the ink off nicely but then causes the paint to boil off, and then Bean frantically tries to save it by wiping it even harder, rubbing the paint off right down to the canvas. Sure, this is not the mark of an intelligent mind, but that's the point of the whole movie.
69
Lost in Space (1998,  PG-13)
Lost in Space
Fine sci-fi based on the 1960s TV series. Not a great deal of charm, nor does it visually bear much resemblance to it's source, but almost gets by on some nifty production design and a very few cool special effects.
70
The X-Files - Fight the Future (1998,  PG-13)
The X-Files - Fight the Future
Two thumbs up for two FBI agents who goes into a motion picture after the final of TV's season five. They never give up to shut down their 'X-Files'.
71
The Avengers (1998,  PG-13)
The Avengers
This secret-agent film based on British's 1960s TV series with retro fashion and effects-packed action look bloody dull and silly.
72
Star Trek - Insurrection (1998,  PG)
73
Muppets From Space (1999,  G)
74
My Favorite Martian (1999,  PG)
75
The Mod Squad (1999,  R)
76
Wild Wild West (1999,  PG-13)
Wild Wild West
This overblown re-creation of the famed Robert Conrad / Ross Martin TV series is a miserable failure in all respects: a slipshod, incoherent mess that bears all the hallmarks of a doomed picture consigned to heavy 11th-hour editing in an attempt to salvage soemthing from the carnage... an effect that failed.
77
Mission Impossible 2 (2000,  PG-13)
Mission Impossible 2
Outstanding action on motorcycle & car chases and Tom Cruise vs Dougary Scott scenes. Director John Woo did an excellent job in this amazing and thrilling film.
78
Charlie's Angels (2000,  PG-13)
Charlie's Angels
Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu are really amazing and sexist special agents better than other actresses in the late 1970's TV drama series. Because they make their awesome martial arts skills to kick butt and save the world from evil.
79
Traffic (2000,  R)
Traffic
Superb drama of three complex stories about the international drug trade with the magnificent all-star cast.
80
Jackass - The Movie (2002,  R)
81
I Spy (2002,  PG-13)
82
Star Trek - Nemesis (2002,  PG-13)
83
The Lizzie McGuire Movie (2003,  PG)
84
Charlie's Angels - Full Throttle (2003,  PG-13)
Charlie's Angels - Full Throttle
Barrymore, Diaz and Liu are bloody hottest babes in their marital arts/action against their enemies including villian babe Demi Moore. Much dancing and cute outfit-wearing ensues.
85
Fat Pizza (2003,  Unrated)
86
S.W.A.T. (2003,  PG-13)
S.W.A.T.
S.W.A.T. group delivers all the pulse-pounding thrills and high-octance action you're looking for.
87
The Singing Detective (2003,  R)
The Singing Detective
This film adaptation of Dennis Potter's acerbic TV drama-comedy-musical sucks.
88
Starsky & Hutch (2004,  PG-13)
Starsky & Hutch
This goofy homage to the old-school 1970s TV detective series and the entire disco era is sort of a comic prequel. And cool cameo appearances of two TV's Starsky and Hutch stars as their old-time characters in this film.
89
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (2005,  PG)
90
The League of Gentlemen's Apocalypse (2005,  R)
91
Bewitched (2005,  PG-13)
Bewitched
Nicole Kidman-Will Ferrell's witch comedy is okay, but not very funny. This film isn't a big-screen version of the old sitcom; it's about a new TV version of the series with a washed-up movie actor who picks an unknown for his Samantha, not knowing that she's a witch herself in "real" life.
92
The Dukes of Hazzard (2005,  PG-13)
The Dukes of Hazzard
Great car chases and purty girls like the late 1970's classic TV comedy sitcom. Vroom! Vroom! And Jessica Simpson looks so sexy and scrumptious as a petrol-pump pin-up in the shortest of shorts.
93
Serenity (2005,  PG-13)
Serenity
In the final battle scene, Summer Glau as a 17-year-old warrior-psychic is really amazing by fighting alone against several canniblism warriors.
94
Strangers with Candy (2005,  R)
95
Mission: Impossible III (2006,  PG-13)
Mission: Impossible III
Fantastic action and non-stop thrill ride from start to finish. This is Tom Cruise's latest film production of Paramount Pictures.
96
Miami Vice (2006,  R)
Miami Vice
Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx are magnificent in this undercover cop movie based on 1980's TV series since "Bad Boys".
97
Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan (2006,  R)
Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan
Crap! Really ridiculous tale of that stupid Kazakhstan journalist. I dislike this film and won't watch again.

Jackass: Number Two (2006,  R)
99
Dirty Sanchez: The Movie (2007,  R)

Reno 911!: Miami (2007,  R)
Reno 911!: Miami
These Reno misfits are really losers and sicko I ever watched, but so hilarious. And I'm sick of the leader of Reno because he's a bloody freak.

Mr. Bean's Holiday (2007,  G)
Mr. Bean's Holiday
So hilarious with British funnyman Rowan Atkinson returns as the bumbling Mr. Bean in this second cinematic outing for the TV icons. His trademark slapstick humour and facial contortions give me great laughs.
102
Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour (2008,  G)
103
Sex and the City (2008,  R)
Sex and the City
Beautiful, wonderful, sexy and really funny with four recently 40-something women from the TV series (1998-2004) into this movie. Makes me feel sorry that I never watched the TV series. It is great that it deals with inter-personal relationships.
Sarah Jessica Parker's performance deserve consideration and her new colour of the hair fits very well to her type and the fabulous Kim Cattrall is still a very beautiful woman in spite of crossing the age of 50 years old. Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and Steve (David Eigenberg) together on the Brooklyn Bridge may be corny, but I found it one of the best moments of the movie.
104
Get Smart (2008,  PG-13)
Get Smart
Steve Carell makes a perfect performance by inheritting the shoe phone from the late, great Don Adams in this hilarious feature film adaptation of the classic Mel Brooks and Buck Henry '60s sitcom Get Smart. And Anne Hathaway is so pretty as Agent 99 that she kicks ass - way to go!
105
The X-Files: I Want to Believe (The X Files 2) (2008,  PG-13)
The X-Files: I Want to Believe (The X Files 2)
The former X-Files agents, Mulder and Scully, return along 6 years after the show wound up, creator-director Chris Carter is stuck with all sorts of baggage casual viewers might have forgotten, which needs to be at least touched on - though newcomers will be bewildered.
Two new FBI agents who prove Carter hasn't lost his knack for "what?" characters names - are set up as the new generation of X-Files sleuths, but get even less to do than the Robert Patrick/Annabeth Gish team who wound down the show. Once Mulder and Scully are plodding around after a creepy Russian, two-headed dogs and Father Joe's squirmy backstory, I'm in a more-or-less normal X-File, though the fact that neither are official agents means more suspense since they are free to wander off into trouble without a badge or a gun for protection.
106
Dead Like Me: Life After Death (2009,  R)
107
Hannah Montana: The Movie (2009,  G)
108
Star Trek (2009,  PG-13)
Star Trek
This 11th film in the franchise - goes back to where Trek began between James T. Kirk and Spock is magnificent tale since in the 1960's sci-fi TV series. The special effects with the ships battling, destroying the planet and "beam us up" are fascinating and really excitement than the original Star Trek films.
From the moment "Bone" McCoy (Karl Urban) comically smuggles an academically suspended Kirk (Chris Pine) onto Captain Pike's U.S.S. Enterprise, Star Trek the XIth hits warp factor IX and, save for a sojourn with Spock senior (Leonard Nimoy), maintains a velocity that would give Scotty (Simon Peggs) night terrors. This is perhaps NCC-1701's most radical refit yet - for the first time in the franchise, the Enterprise is a genuine thrill-ride.
Not that the crew are just along for the V-necks. Director J.J. Abrams can do character on the run, and the plot deftly deals in decent-sized roles for all of the famous seven. Urban's gruff McCoy and Zachary Quinto's piercing Spock stand out, and despite Internet rumbling, Pine is also absolutely fine. Of course, as you might expect, the acting mostly requires shouting declarative Trekbabble or wedging witticisms between set-pieces, but both Bruce Greenwood's stoic Captain Pike and Eric Bana's wounded Romulan avenger Nero forage earthier notes amid the SFX sheen.
That Trek weakness for warping plotlines does bring the usual convolutions, but whenever the Vulcan side of your brain is tempted to pose frequently asked questions aobut time travel, the breakneck pace drags you forward through the movie's own brisk running time. On the downside, Abrams is not quite able to apply the brakes in time for the third act, which prematurely climaxes before you have time to drink it in. Kirk has a nice Indy moment, and the Enterprise does a good impression of the Millennium Falcon in the Battle of Yavin, but Spock's dogfight with a drill is unlikely to enter Starfleet legend - what is pointy ears doing flying anything? - and Nero deserves at least one villian's second-chance fightback.
Visually, emotionally and for full-on nutty flair, this trip out is the whole futuristic package.
109
Land of the Lost (2009,  PG-13)
110
State of Play (2009,  PG-13)
State of Play
An outstanding thriller! The film title now freighted with this added resonance - suggests these two forces, represented by Russell Crowe's old-school hack Cal McAffrey and Rachel McAdams' new-media blogger Della Frye, might combine to create something complementary and powerful. It's a nice thought, balanced by a final scene that offers a eulogy for the late, great ink-and-paper miracle that is a daily broadsheet.
This is a topical and unpredictable conspiracy tale in the tradition of All the President's Men and The Manchurian Candidate, with much to say about technology's impact on the media, the corporatisation of newspapers, and the state of America post George W. Bush.
Highly recommended!
