Known as Stockade over here and not available on DVD, this is a forgotten gem. I think outside of Platoon, this may be the best piece of acting from Charlie Sheen with his father directing and turning in a good performance also. |

Pump up the Volume (1990, R)
This film is ahead of its time really. What Christian Slater is doing with his pirate radio show is kind of the fore-runner to podcasting! Best Slater film from this time period I would say, and one of the few that really holds up. I think a modern day version of it centered around podcasting as apposed to pirate radio would be an interesting idea. |
