This is so beautiful, I love the gothic atmosphere they've created in it.
Also love the make-up and costumes that make the werewolves look so stunningly beautiful.
One other thing I love about it is that it's not as exaggerated as this genre of movies mormally are. They've tried to find what can sound believable and made everything as realistic as they possibly could.

Wow, I was stunned for quite a while after seing this, it is so beautiful visually I almost couldn't take it all in from just watching it once. It's not about your "normal" sort of werewolf either, they're more like the Japanese foxes, one human shape, one animal shape, the whole story seemed well thought-out... I loved it very much.

A journalist finds the scoop of the century; a real vampire ready to tell the truth of his life. This vampire, Louis, tells a story about death, love, betrayal, loneliness but formostly hunger.
A great movie with great actors, a good adaption (even though it gives you the completely wrong impression of Lestat).

I never though that Gackt would acctually be good at acting but this movie proves the opposite. It's a Japanese vampire movie, it's beautiful as well as deep and it's absolutely filled with mixed emotions. Very sad at times.

Dracula and David Wenham's character are really funny but it's a crappy story

The vampire Lestat wakes up from his slumber many years after he lay down to sleep. He wakes to the sound of modern rock music and finds his way to become a rock star of modern time. This worries the vampire society and somehow wakes The Queen of their race, The Mother.
The soundtrack's great, absolutely wonderful, too bad they're ruining two perfectly written books by Anne Rice with this lousy story...

I liked the name tag, even though Blade found it childish.

A new addition to the vampire-genre, a bit different when it comes to the creatures in question though.
Good.

Two American young men travel to England for some European backpacking adventures but get caught up by a werewolf.
I have to admit myself impressed. Good music, not so good acting though, but the make-up is great for being 1981 and the werewolf looks somewhat like you'd imagine one to.
Also quite a lot of fun, odd stuff like people getting eaten to the sounds of a porno movie or jazz music during the sex scenes.
A true classic.

The elderly professor Abronsius and his cowardly assisstant Alfred are vampire killers and researchers now on their way into Transylvania. The movie starts just like any Dracula-movie but takes another turn later although it's much less serious right through.
My personal favorite is the professor himself played by Jack MacGowran, he's mixing slap-stick, eccentricity with a sorts of old-man-humor, the kind that older parents think is funny but kids in their teens only think is embarrassing. I think that sort of stuff is hilarious.
Anyway, the make-up is awful and the music didn't highten the movie at all, quite the opposite really.

Oh, this movie reeks of the 80's! Woah! The clothes, the music, the people... Not my favorite time of the last century.
And definently not one of the proudest moments of a young Robert Sean Leonard but the movie has its brighter moments.

This is by far the worst vampire movie I have ever seen.
And it's Swedish, so yes, I'm a bit ashamed about the fact that the first Swedish vampire movie ever made is as terrible as this.
In the nortern parts in this forsaken country the sun never rises during the winter months and basically that's where the plots begin. Night 24/7 for 2 months, how could it get any better for a vampire? Good for them, bad for anyone deciding to watch this failure. Bad script, bad acting, crap music, ridiculous plot and characters... *sigh*

Young innocent girl has caught the interest of a vampire who tries to seduce her with the help of erotic dreams.
Lets see if I can get this straight: bad make-up, crap acting, no good music, lousy dialogue and story, so bad in fact that they need to toss in some extra unnecessary nudity to cover up their shortcomings and make it more interesting, which leads me to the conclusion: bad movie. Do not watch.

It got my imagination running but not much else, it's a nice idea but it was totally ruined along the production somewhere.
