I love a good Western! Pity they're hard to come by. And that is why I'm grateful for this excellent film that brings two of the greatest actors of the past decade together on the big screen. Best Western since "Open Range," for sure, and one of the best films of 2007.

Billy Bob Thornton was great. The rest is pretty forgettable.

I don't know what the deal is with the bicycle scene and B.J. Thomas, but the rest of the film is pure classic.

Eastwood, Van Cleef, and Eli Wallach--if there were ever a better three-lead Western, I don't know about it.

Lee Van Cleef is a fantastic character and gives Eastwood someone just as cool to play off.

Eastwood's first iconic Western, this "Man With No Name" trilogy gets better with each film.

Yul Brynner and Steve McQueen lead a band of gunfighters against the evil Eli Wallach. Dude, that's a good Western.

Yeah, Wayne's a racist. But this is a great film. My only real qualm is the white guy playing the Indian.

Contains my single favorite camera shot in movie history--he walks into the dusty street, alone, the camera pulls out and pans up. You feel his desperation, his loneliness, and his determination.

"Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges. I ain't gotta show you any stinking badges!"

That chase scene across the prairie is amazing. One of my favorite romantic plots too.
