Pretty cool action-wise, albeit unrealistic as hell. Fits well into the Die Hard series.

Not to spoil the ending, but John Lennon gets shot. The cool thing about this documentary is that it's narrated by the deceased John Lennon by means of previous interview excerpts. I was a big Beatles and John Lennon fan when this movie came out and it was great. I've seen it again recently, and it didn't quite hit me the same as when I was 18, but it's still a great film for any fan of John Lennon.

A Scorsese comedy? With Cheech & Chong in it??? Yup. An underrated, forgotten movie from the 80's that's very hard to find on DVD.

Urgh! A Music War (1981,  R)
Urgh! A Music War 4.0 Stars
I saw this waaay back in the 80's and have been looking for a copy ever since. A great mix of genres all playing live from different venues, with early 80's bands like The Police, XTC, Dead Kennedys, The GoGos, Oingo Boingo, Devo, Echo & The Bunnymen, and OMD. It's a good way to revisit a time when so many new music forms were in their infancy.
