Alexander (2004, R)
Hollywood made a big step with this movie presenting the worst one ever made. I mean there's no strong point in it. Everything is bad. From direction to acting to the screenplay. And specially the screenplay. First i heard bad reviews about the movie and thought how could a story everyone knows about a great leader be bad. But i was shocked by this terrbile horrible movie. It was the first time i walk out of the movie theatre coz this was an insult to movie making. The screenplay is horrible turning alexander to gay and the actring by all the members was really really terrible specially colin farell. |

An advice from me to everyone reading this review do not watch this during Christmas. This movie kills every christmas spirit. It is joyless, disgusting, disturbing, random and not funny at all. It tries to tell anemotional story about a guy who's looking for a family for christmas but it goes down with silly stupid jokes and heartless emotionless scenes that cries out loud to be takne seriously. Usually christmas movies are supposed to be happy but this one was satisfied by showing the garbage of modern societies to ruin every fun time anyone might have had in this movie, which i clearly doubt it. And the developement of the characters was very weak and briefly typical taken from every movie about a shallow guy turned mature because of family yay. arghh. Ben Affleck prooved once again what a talentless actor he really is with a very student role which is easily beaten by small kids in school plays. |
