ZZZ) INCOMP. (Overrated)
Many of the films listed are well known hyped films, many of which I have found to be good films, but slightly disappointed with the how overhyped they were.

Wrong Turn (2003, R)
Wrong Turn has all the ingreients for a typical Scary Teen movie, ie. it's not particularly scary and it's very predictable. 'The Mountain men' weren't very original and I felt needed to be scarier than they were, having said that, this was a lot more bearable than most. I'm not sure I'll hold out for Wrong Turn 2 though. |

Blue Velvet (1986, R)
This film runs on a very flat level, meaning there never seems to be any elevated time of excitement, yet it somehow works. An enjoyable storyline with some great music and an unusual role for Dennis Hopper. |

The Hustler (1961, Unrated)
Not quite the film, I had anticipated. I had to watch it in three stages through boredom. There were likable qualities and the actual storyline, I think works well, yet it failed to impress me. |

The Seventh Seal (Det Sjunde inseglet) (1957, Unrated)
Although I can partly see the appeal to this popular film, I have to admit (I know I won?t be popular for this) I found a fair bit of this film quite boring. Having heard this film, so many times talked of with high regard ? I feel I?ve missed something! |

Another disappointment! I seem to be on a run recently of overrated films. The film of course isn?t all bad, I like the actual storyline and it?s bravery of using a child killer in it?s time, the beginning was good and so was the end, but slumped far too much in the middle. |
