1
Kung Fu Panda (2008,  PG)
Kung Fu Panda
After a bit of a slow start, this film really comes to life about half way through, the animation of course was great, Jack Black's voice completely matched the main character and the ideas and choreography that went into this film was quite something.

This feature length cartoon really has captured something from the Martial Arts movies and with clever little morals for the young ones to catch on to. Kung Fu Panda was a really enjoyable film.
2
Bee Movie (2007,  PG)
Bee Movie
One of the best Feature length Cartoons in the last few years. It will inevitably be compared to the likes of ?Antz? and ?A Bug?s Life?, but in my opinion, it has a much better storyline to it.

Watch out for the guest appearances, which adults may find comical.

Child or Adult ? A very enjoyable movie.
3
Ratatouille (2007,  G)
Ratatouille
Impressive animation and characterization, I thought the story was great. Disney still manages to metaphor it?s morals aimed at the kids, but inject enough entertainment for the adults too. The storyline cleverly picks up on Celebrity chef culture.

Ice Age 2: The Meltdown (2006,  PG)
Ice Age 2: The Meltdown
Definitely as good as the first, with new and old characters, this movie is a great watch for both kids and adults alike.
5
Over the Hedge (2006,  PG)
Over the Hedge
A good storyline with some great characters, in particular Hammy, I love the scene with the fizzy drink. The whole film emits a message about family.
6
Flushed Away (2006,  PG)
Flushed Away
Hillariously entertaining, Flushed Away is one of the best animated family films in the last few years, with enough references to other films to almost call it a spoof.

Great characterization and some great creative ideas.
7
King Kong (2005,  PG-13)
King Kong
Anyone who wants to watch this film bear with the first hour, the scenery, effects and animation are worth the wait. It really is quite amazing how far we have come in terms of the effects sin the original was made.
For anyone who has an interest in behind the scenes and how the film was made, the special features on this film has to be the greatest I?ve ever seen, it?s lengthly, but well worth the watch.
8
Madagascar (2005,  PG)
9
Chicken Little (2005,  G)
Chicken Little
A great slant on the tale we all knew as kids. Chicken Little himself is quite adorable, and he has some great quirky sidekicks.

There were a couple of bits that were a little too ?War of the Worlds? to me, (a film I?m not very fond of), but this was a very enjoyable family movie with a great quirky ending.
10
Garfield - The Movie (2004,  PG)
11
Finding Nemo (2003,  G)
Finding Nemo
Another enjoyable Pixar film, with great characters and moralistic tale. The character of Dory is hilarious as the fish with a short term memory. A favourite amongst many and a great entertaining film for kids and grown ups alike.
12
Ice Age (2002,  PG)
13
Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles (2001,  PG)
Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles
Certainly not in the same league as the others and Paul Hogan 'surgery', just takes away all the character of the rough diamond Mickey Dundee we all knew and loved.
14
Chicken Run (2000,  G)
15
Stuart Little (1999,  PG)
16
Dr. Dolittle (1998,  PG-13)
17
The Horse Whisperer (1998,  PG-13)
The Horse Whisperer
A young Scarlett Johansson plays a good role in a story that has more depth to it that the title suggest. It does essentially lead to a love story, but the film is very long and the love story is not the main plot.

With likable characters and stunning scenic views, The Horse Whisperers is a watchable lengthly, but not one, I would demand people to watch.
18
Mighty Joe Young (1998,  PG)
19
Antz (1998,  PG)
Antz
Such a metaphorical film for many issues. Woody Allen was a great choice for the main character here, a great film to teach the kids about individuality.
20
George of the Jungle (1997,  PG)
George of the Jungle
As silly as this film is, I find it really funny, one of those typical no-brainer type film that just entertains
21
Ace Ventura - When Nature Calls (1995,  PG-13)
22
The Lion King (1994,  G)
23
Free Willy (1993,  PG)

26
Beethoven (1992,  PG)
27
Turner and Hooch (1989,  PG)
28
Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988,  PG)
Who Framed Roger Rabbit
One of the first films to use a combination of Actors and Animation. A fun film for all the family, with a typical Private Eye settings but with an added difference.
29
Crocodile Dundee II (1988,  PG)
Crocodile Dundee II
Equally as great action as the first with an enjoyable new storyline, with a little more added comedy thrown in.

A very worthy sequel.
30
Gorillas in the Mist: The Story of Dian Fossey (1988,  PG-13)
Gorillas in the Mist: The Story of Dian Fossey
An insight into the life of Dian Fossey, this a great film
31
Crocodile Dundee (1986,  PG-13)
Crocodile Dundee
An absolute classic that?s still a great watch to this day. A love story with a difference when opposites attract in a culture clash as an adventure takes place. Paul Hogan will be remembered for a long time to come for this role.

One of those watch over and over type of films.
32
Jaws 3 (1983,  PG)
Jaws 3
Pretty much the same old same, but in new settingsd. I'm kind of getting bored now.
33
Cujo (1983,  R)
34
Alligator (1980,  R)
Alligator
Obviously dated in the style of effects and of course not scary in this day and age as it seemed to back when I was a kid, but I enjoyed Robert Forster's performance and it was at least watchable.
35
Jaws 2 (1978,  PG)
Jaws 2
Not a bad sequel, but I guess a very predictable one. I just remember these films scaring me so much as a kid and in a way I guess it made a lot of kids wary of the sea too.

VERDICT: Worth a watch, but I'm sure most have seen it anyway
36
Jaws (1975,  PG)
Jaws
As a kid this film really scared me, I bought it recently to re-watch, I enjoyed it.
37
Charlotte's Web (1973,  G)
38
Digby, the Biggest Dog in the World (1973,  G)
39
The Jungle Book (1967,  PG)
40
Born Free (1966,  PG)
41
The Birds (1963,  PG-13)
The Birds
What starts out as a potential love story, with flirtatious games, grows rapidly into a horrific (and certainly scary in it?s day) tale of a community infested with relentless vicious birds.

?Tippi? Hedron (an Actress I admittedly had never heard of) made quite an impression as Melanie; a headstrong powerful woman of her time, who goes after what she wants. If you?re able to access the Special Features there is a screen test of her, that is quite an interesting watch.

Certainly one of the most known films of Hitchcock and definitely a good watch for fans of the Director.
42
Lady and the Tramp (1955,  G)
43
Dumbo (1941,  G)
