  I loove this movie its one of my favourite movies! Its hilarious and a really good storyline! Jennifer Garner is fantastic and its brilliantly acted by her, without Garner i dont think this movie would have been any good! Andy serkis is brilliant as supporting actor and is really hilarious! Its about a girl who wishes she was 30 at her 13 birthday party , when she awakes the next moring she suddenly finds herself in a whole new life and her wish has completely come true! But what life she findds isnt exactly the life she imagined it, so starts rewriting her future by doing things that should have been done in the first and finding her true love that she should have never of ruined whilst trying to find a why back to being 13! A really good movie, and really happy interesting movie!

  "Wait, listen to me. I'm 13! - Jenna, if you're gonna start lying about your age, I'd go with 27." If there's a cute movie to be seen, this is the one. It's so cute that it actually made me sick! Jennifer Garner is no comedian, she's more suitable for brainless action movies or series ala "Electra" or "Alias". Ok, I'll admit, she did a nice job in "Juno" but comedy had nothing to do with that role. There were some scenes that had me feel really... Can't think of a proper word but it's somewhere between nausea and being confused. For starters the dance scene in the bar where a bunch of complete strangers started to dance to Thriller. And all of 'em suddenly knew the moves. Hated it. The second scene was the last 2 or 3 minutes of the movie where everything became so goddamn cute with kisses, growing up, finding your true love and buying a pink house. Hated it even more! "13 going on 30" is the girls choice for "Big", starring Tom Hanks. The reason I did not like this movie is not because the target audience was girls (I'm open for everything) but because it was just totally stupid and an underestimation of viewers.

  Another take on the child/adult swap like Big and the recent 17 again. This is done rather well in this film and remains quite lighthearted and funny with a strong cast. One of the better rom-coms of this genre.

  While fairly innocuous in its horridness, 13 Going on 30 is a ridiculous spectacle not worth your time. Jennifer Garner is neither adorable nor a good actress. Unbelievable plot mixed with oozes of fakeness. Although oddly enough I really like Judy Greer.

  As enjoyable as it is predictable. Ticks all the boxes for an inoffensive family comedy but a similar theme was utilised to better effect in Big! which this steals a number of jokes from. Garner, Ruffalo and Serkis push it away from the a dull and painful death.

  With just enough quirkiness crammed into a charming, accessible and surprisingly refreshing film, Suddenly 30 proves itself to be a fine example of a fun film sticking true to it's merits. Never over ripened and with only a dashing of sugar, this is a film that, while holding a premise of absurdity, allows itself to be an endearing and entertaining journey into the growth of attitude and persona with a well learned lesson at it's heart. The film may not hold an original plot, but for what it does - it does well. ...more soon.

  This variation of the classic body-switching comedy is held together by the gorgeous Jennifer Garner, who is so adorable and in a visibly good mood that it's a pleasure to watch her. Sure, the script is rather predictable and the logic of the plot not entirely convincing. The cast makes up for that, as well as a handfull of wonderfully embarassing dancing scenes, especially the routine they do to Michael Jackson's "Thriller". Entertaining while it lasts.
