This movie was amazing, it showed how to wait as a child to grow up and never forget your friends as an adult. This movie was really great, it was a little bit longer than I thought, it could been shortened and there were a few scenes that didn't fit well.
I loved this movie because it's, again, original... I think. I'm not too sure if there were other movies like this, but I'm pretty sure there weren't. I just wonder why they thought 30 was a wonderful age. It must be, but I'd rather be 25.
LOVE IT! This movie is so much fun. Great movie to watch with the girls. I love all the 80's music and references. Now I want to learn the dance moves from the "Thriller" music video!
Jenna Rink (Crista B. Allen) celebrates her 13 birthday in 1987 to wish to be 30 during a game of "Seven Minutes in Heaven." 30 years old Jenna Rinks (Jennifer Garner) awakens with no memory for 17 years & she lives in a Fifth Avenue apartment in 2004. Jenna discovers works for Poise is her favorite magazine when she was a teenager with Lucy Wyman (Judy Greer). Jenna asks her assistant to track down her best friend: Matt Flamhaff (Mark Ruffalo). Snobby Lucy is nosy looking thru Jenna's things have Sparkle envelopes: She accepts the position of Sparkle editor-in-chief by using Jenna's work. Jenna wishes to return in 1987 specks of wishing dust remain on the dream house is her wish is granted. Jenna kisses her best friend Matt (Sean Marquette). Jenna & Matt are newlyweds from a home identical to the dream house that Matt built when Jenna was 13 -- sharing a packet of their favorite childhood candy, Razzles.
Not as bad as I expected, it had a few pleasant surprises such as Andy Serkis' and Mark Ruffalo's performances. But it's still very much a forgettable movie, and not one that I enjoyed particularly on the spot either.
Jenna Rink is a typical preteen girl who wants more than anything to grow up. On her 13th birthday, Jenna's only wish is to get older and fast. When she wakes up the next morning, she's 30 years old, a sucessful magazine editor with a live-in boyfriend! Jenna tracks down Matt(her best friend when she was younger) to try and figure out what has happened.
This is now one of my favorite movies. It was really cute. One aspect I really liked about the movie is that the characters that were young actually looked almost exactly like the characters as adults. This is truly a great chick flick and best to watch with a best friend. That was really sweet how Matt made that whole doll house for her, he really liked her. My sis ter and I thought the skinny blonde girl was a little bitch. She tricked Jenna twice! At the party she even said she was going to go get some beer and she's only 12 or 13! I thought Jennifer Garner was really good. She was really silly and goofy. I laughed a lot during this movie. My favorite parts were the dancing scene, when she was with Matt on the swings, and the ending. But I thought it was funny that through the entire movie Jenna was dressed like a kid as well as acted like one too. Her hair even always seemed crazy looking. I liked the part where she had the slumber party with the girls, that was funny too. I loved the romantic parts in this movie. They make me feel warm and fuzzy. I picture myself as if I'm the girl or as if I'm in the movie during those parts. I thought it was fun when they danced together and how he kissed her in the park. I cried in the part where she said something along the lines of "I believe if you really knew I had changed, you wouldn't be marrying someone, unless that someone was me." He looked like he was going to cry in that part too. He loved her so much when he was little and you could easily tell he fell in love with her all over again starting fromt he dancing scene. He is such a sweetie. I wish his character were a real person and would marry me, Lol. Such as sweet romantic and fun loving movie, I loved it.
Truly magical romantic comedy. Jennifer Garner was a great choice for this film I can not picture anyone else doing it! Dancing to Thriller was the best! ::|::Favorite::|::
This movie is pretty funny! its about this 13 year old girl who is sick of being a kid and wants to be 30.So that is what her birthday wish is,and Dada it comes true!
this movie is good for those teenagers that are in such a hurry to grow up. it teaches you to slow down and enjoy your youth while its there, and then before you know it, it will be gone.
I really love this movie, with a simple story but with beautiful context, Jennifer Garner are amazing in this role, I think this is her best work. Judy Greer and Marc Rufallo are really good too. 13 going om 30 is a amazing film, and I recommend for everyone.
