Plot: Three women in different stages of their lives - 20, 30, 40 - face the hardships of the female existence.
they were looking for LOVE, but they found them selves... three independent women searching for MEANING in their LIVES while dealing with matters of the
HEART....
Although I've never been one for films aimed at females I found this one unique and surprisingly touching. Sylvia Chang was brilliant as the unlucky in love middle aged Lilly. But Angelica Lee is defiantly the standout with her touching performance of Xiao Jie. Her flirtatious relationship with her singing partner highlights how gay and straight relationships suffer the same struggles. I would recommend this film to anyone who wants a unique look at relationships for women in the modern world.
Sylvia Chang's view on women from different age group in Taiwan was rather refreshing and fun to watch.
