Awful. simply awful. The director is a disgrace to all mankind. The only movie worse than this was that other movie he made, pinnochio. And daredevil, that also sucked.

Wonderful roles for Roberto Benigni and Nicoletta Braschi.
The characters and situations work absolutely wonderfully, and I love the interaction and the plot twists in this story.
    Great comedy of misunderstanding.
For any comedy fan, this one is a must-see.

    "Santa Cleopatra."

Roberto Benigni plays his usual comedic self in this Italian slapstick about mistaken identity. Funny, but predictable plot - a prelude to his breakout role in Life is Beautiful.
