  this movie either puts a nice holiday spin on goodfellas, or turns its a wonderful life into a gangster movie. either way the combo really works. the performances are genuine and from the heart, and its got just the right amount of humor with out going over the top. danny aiello and anthony lapaglia really click with father son chemistry. killer soundtrack too, ever so loosely based on a true story
