300 is truly the movie of the year. With fantastic action scenes, an enthralling storyline, wonderfully played characters, what's not to love? Oh right. The present-day Persians think it's demeaning. They think it makes them look like something they're not. It's historical fiction (the battle, not the war)! It came from a graphic novel! So the movie made Persians look cruel. What about Native Americans and how we were made to look like filthy savages? We don't cry or flame about it. It's a movie. Of course it's going to make some people look like something they're not. Deal with it.
I saw it in the Cinema and LOVED it! As always Gerard Butler's character is spot on. He becomes each character with such depth it becomes mezmerizing to watch.I will see his new movie "Shattered" as well for it was made right here in Vancouver.

Great movie, lots of blood and action, The people def kept fit back then, its called find the man with out the six pack. Storyline was good. Fighting immortals, magic etc.. Def worth the watch.
