Critic Reviews from Rotten Tomatoes

"Lichtenstein grooves on bullets and blood and bedlam, but there's no grace, no drama, no sense of honor to the violence."
‑ Stephanie Zacharek, Salon.com
"Fast-paced but dumb."
‑ Jonathan Foreman, New York Post
"...an incoherent jumble of images..."
‑ David Nusair, Reel Film Reviews
"Like a needle jumping around on a scratchy old piece of vinyl, the movie skips aimlessly from raunchy comedy to blood-spattered thriller to gooey male-bonding drama without ever finding a groove to settle into."
‑ James Sanford, Kalamazoo Gazette
"Curse-a-my soul This movie couldn't be worse The prints should be delivered from the back of a Hearse"
‑ Collin Souter, eFilmCritic.com
"Too much of the film is pure filler, visuals manipulated for onanistic purposes."
‑ John Anderson, Newsday
"Extremely violent Elvis-based robbery for 17+ only."
‑ Nell Minow, Common Sense Media
"Russell and Costner deliver up some of the most amusing portrayals of their careers as casino-robbing Elvis impersonators"
‑ Brian Mckay, eFilmCritic.com
"Gleefully preposterous and at times blissfully inane."
‑ Sean Burns, Philadelphia Weekly
"It insulted my intelligence, yes, but I still have some hope for the human race after watching it."
‑ Mark Dujsik, Mark Reviews Movies
"The picture feels longer than Presley's career and as irrelevant as he was by the end."
‑ Elvis Mitchell, New York Times
"The Tarantino effect is very much in evidence in this trashy, senseless, and excessively violent actioner about a casino heist that goes uproariously awry."
‑ Emanuel Levy, EmanuelLevy.Com
"It's a shame the movie is ultimately so worthless, because the acting isn't half-bad"
‑ Jason Clark, Matinee Magazine
"You can't make stuff like this up."
‑ Dennis Schwartz, Ozus' World Movie Reviews
"An exciting, action-packed heist sadly followed up by stupid con games and bad relationships."
‑ Andrew Manning, Radio Free Entertainment
