Plot:
one of the cheesiest movies ever. i think it was meant to be a parody but it wasn't funny. the worst batman film. i like to pretend it doesn't exist. batman should not wear underpants over his pants and robin should not dress as an elf
I saw this when I was a kid. Back then, it was entertaining but I don't think today's kids would like it.
Hilariously camp 60s take on the caped crusader, and everything Tim Burton was trying to get away from when he re-invented the franchise. It's really only of interest to kids and those up for a bit of nostalgic kitsch, but there are some very funny moments. Pass the bat anti-shark repellant!
So much fun, especially if you're old enough to remember the TV show (I am). The campiness of it probably works even better these days than it did in '66. Be prepared...it's not the Dark Knight.
This one is kinda funny, super tongue in cheek, and just a good spoof of the genre, but don't watch it if you really LIKE batman.
One of the most dorkiest movies ever, but I still love the "Bam" "Zoink", and all the bad special effects from 1966. What other Batman has the entire crew teaming up together to take over Gotham? Beats me!
Great movie for anyone who grew up loving the Batman Series. The scene with Batman trying to get rid of a bomb is hilarious.
A joke, really, but sometimes a reasonably funny one. Once you get past the sacrilege of making the Batman universe look so ridiculous (okay, maybe that's just me), it's quite a lot of fun. Now hand me that can of Bat-Shark-Repellent!
AWESOME SERIES From this movie ! Ceasar Romero was always handsome and I loved he played in this ! HE portrayed a GReat Joker ! West as Batman was Great too ! EArtha Kit was known for an actress in the Batman series a little later on...
excellent. 60's camp at it's best. "some days you just can't get rid of a bomb." i own it. you should too.
Camp and childish version of the Caped Crusader. Good for a laugh, and a classic, but not as exciting as the newer versions.
This is a great movie for all you old school TV Batman fans.It has all the action and campy humor of the TV show, and the cast of villians is worth the watch. The Joker,The Riddler,The Penguin, and The Catwoman. All played to the hilt by Cesar Romero,Burgess Meredith,Frank Gorshin, and Lee Meriwether who's version of Catwoman rivals that of Julie Newmar herself. It is one movie you'll want to watch more than once.
Dont watch this by yourself, this ones hilarious when theres somebody else watching it with you.
Adam West rules as always
" You can't just get rid of a bomb these days"
Classic. Oh the beloved memories. Campy, cartoony fun. While after 'Batman Begins' this suddenly appears terribly ludicrous and out-dated, it still remains one of the fun super-hero classics.
