July 15, 2008this film was mildly tolerable till one of the last scenes...then it got weird and offensive. well i was offended. just due to how flippantly a very serious issue is dealt with. very weird.

March 10, 2008I don't know if Josh Hartnett is actually capable to be a "leading man"... I'd go with "No!" just because I feel in the hands of another guy this would've been a really funny, yet stupid film, instead of a really stupid, kind of funny film.

February 28, 2007I did like the start and the middle of this movie but as LandoMcfly said the end is actually rape!!! I cant believe nothing was actually said about it, it would have been different if the movie had been about a girl giving up sex for 40 days then at the last minute some bloke comes and has sex with her without her permission, there would have been up roar. The end of the movie should have been that he won the bet, not being raped by his ex.
