I enjoyed the orginality of the film, its your post "teen flick" romance located in New York city which itself is interesting, I just wish they used more local areas of NYC instead of the flats (homes). It wasn't so much a comedy but a "feel good" flick.
Would a guy his age really go all the way through Lent without any form of sex? Come on...
this film was mildly tolerable till one of the last scenes...then it got weird and offensive. well i was offended. just due to how flippantly a very serious issue is dealt with. very weird.
I don't know if Josh Hartnett is actually capable to be a "leading man"... I'd go with "No!" just because I feel in the hands of another guy this would've been a really funny, yet stupid film, instead of a really stupid, kind of funny film.

A very very average film!
Couldn't have made be laugh or for that matter satisfy me but i like the plot.
A guy obseesed with sex goes without sexual activities for 40 days and 40 nights. Obviously not one for the kiddies.
A hit and miss comedy packed with naked women. With a tag like that I should be saying this is the best film of all time, but I can see past this and focus on what should be the comedy. Sadly I couldn't find many points to choose where I laughed.
