Critic Reviews from Rotten Tomatoes

"40 is the New 20 is a day late, a dollar short and terrible in between."

"It starts off as a dark comedy about adult relationships and then just turns plain dark, moving from dull to creepy in a trice."
‑ Liz Braun, Jam! Movies
"Charmless, aimless and a waste of a cast that, in other contexts, has done good work, 40 Is the New 20 is the new zero."
‑ Liam Lacey, Globe and Mail
"...an uneven yet intriguing piece of work that fits comfortably within Boisvert's remarkably consistent filmography..."
‑ David Nusair, Reel Film Reviews
"Easily Simon Boisvert's best film to date."
‑ Kevin N. Laforest, Montreal Film Journal
"All talk and no pork makes for a joyless pic about Gen X'ers and their dating problems in Montreal."
‑ Dennis Schwartz, Ozus' World Movie Reviews
