A rousing theme tune, but unfortunately things go downhill from there. Unconvincing aerial sequences (complimented by dodgy model effects), pointless love interest and an uninteresting side plot involving a distinctly italian-american looking (and sounding) "norwegian". Other films have done this type of thing much, much better.

Yes, it looks a bit dated and may not be as convincing as modern war films, but I'd have this over 'Pearl Harbour' any day. Jolly good show, enjoyable characters and one hell of a theme tune. Tally Ho!
