It is summertime in a blue-collar, marginal district of a city in the South of Spain. Tano, a teenager currently serving a sentence in a juvenile reform center, is given a 48-hour leave to attend his ...( read more  read more... )brother's wedding. Together with his best friend Richi, Tano plans to enjoy his 48-hour pass to the limit, doing all the things he is normally prohibited from doing. He gets drunk, takes drugs, steals, has sex and hangs out with his buddies. He feels free and exerts that freedom with all the force and audacity of a teenager. By the end of his 48-hour pass, Tano has also witnessed the collapse of all the things he takes for granted in his life: the neighborhood, his family, friends and loved-ones - everything is somehow different for him. More than just two days of freedom, Tano's leave turns out to be a journey into maturity.

    Una estampa bastante pobre de España. Una de las peores películas que he visto nunca. Tópica hasta la saciedad, con un absurdo final, lo demás solo el vacío de una película innecesaria y muy mala. Tano, el protagonista que trabaje o haga algo porque da vergüenza verlo hasta en la...( read more) pantalla. Situaciones que rozan lo absurdo. Soy andaluz y mira que la película se empeña en en seseo y en la fiesta. ¿Esa es la imagen que se tiene de España? !Que horror! Tan superficial como cualquier americanada de USA solo que peor porque todo el mundo la sobrevalora mucho y encima la cargan de premios, no he visto otra cosa en mi vida. Los peores actores españoles reunidos para esta tediosa película. Por cierto, Juanjo Ballesta borda el papel. Tan cierto como que el cielo es verde y 7 vírgenes, una obra maestra. Me da vergüenza esta película.
