Four decades after clashing over which of them would win the hand of the girl they both loved, two sworn brothers cling to their bitter rivalry in this bittersweet comedy about life among the common people of Hong Kong. Back in the 1970s, Ha Kung (Eric Tsang) and Shek Kin (Jacky Cheung) prevented a greedy pair of slumlords (Lam Ka Tung and Charmaine Sheh) from evicting 72 destitute tenants, and save Pinky (Anita Yuen) from entering into an arranged marriage.
