Definitely the cinematography is the thing that makes this film simply amazing to watch.
And while i agree with others when they say that the script is great, it's the silence thats evident throughout that makes it so powerful.
Another "great" Australian film.
Slow paced but brutally honest depiction of life, coming of age, racial inequalities and differences as portrayed by two sixteen year old boys growing up together. The film is set in the beautiful and serene backdrop of the Western Australian country side around 1950's and the filming is quite wonderful.
This was filmed to magically! The landscape was filled to the brim with emotion. As for the storyline...whoa...I?ve never been so disgraced and felt more guilty about Aborigines ever before. So anyways, everyone must watch this because it shows you a really interesting time in Australian?s history. And it only goes for 60 mins so why not watch it.
