1 Epic movie, 2 breathtaking OMG! -due to- 3 surnames ···Bale-Depp together in one movie (ahhh!) and directed by Mann (ahhh!)··· (Each one with 4 letter surnames); plus Channing Tatum, Billy Crudup, Giovanni Ribisi and Marion Cotillard... definilly a must see.-
With those two actors together in a classic mob story, it'll be a definate must-see. One question, though: Is it really rated G? You can't have a G rated mob movie?
I'm incredibly excited about this film. I had heard about it a while ago but kind of lost tabs on it until recently when my mom and I were talking about something that involved Johnny Depp and told me that they were apparently filming in Madison at the capital, which is about 45 minutes from where I live. My exact reaction was "OMG, why didn't you tell me before? Christian Bale is in that movie! We're going to Madison." Anyways, I didn't quite have the time to get up there with my senior year getting really hectic. I'm still really disappointed in that since I keep missing Bale. He's been only about an hour away numerous times having filmed both Batman films in Chicago and now Public enemies?
Aside from my poor timing, I really do think this film is going to be amazing and rather smart in dialogue I hope. Seeing Bale and Depp go at it should be quite fun seeing how they're a few of the best actors of our time.
It is going to be amazing, awesome and perfect in every possible way. No, I can't guarantee that, but I have a strong feeling that this will become one of my fave Johnny Depp films. The cast is brilliant, so many of my fave actors are to star in this film. Johnny Depp, Christian Bale, Channing Tatum, Marion Cotillard, Giovanni Ribisi, David Wenham... just... WOW! With a cast like that there's no denying that this has the potential to be a truly outstanding film. And to be directed by the one and only Michael Mann.. what a legend he is. Another great reason that I am looking forward to this flick.
So yes.. that is my shortened excitement for this film in words. I could go on for hours.. but, it will have to stop there. I can't wait for it's release, and I sure hope that it will live up to my expectations. Still a long while to go now though....

Some of this movie was filmed in Columbus, WI and that's pretty close to where I live. They were there for a week and that was it. So I have just GOT to see this movie!
Ok seriously Johnny Depp, Chrisitan Bale, Channing Tatum, and Stephen Dorff. Thats like my dream cast, ahh cannot wait!!!! Not to mention I LOVE gangster movies!
