Plot:
Originally broadcast on CBS in March 2002, 9/11 is an extraordinary record of that fateful day in New York City. This one-of-a-kind documentary was originally conceived as a portrait of 21-year...( read more
)
The first documentary of 9/11 made with the amazing 1st-person footage from the two French film makers who were there on that day.
A tremendous blow once again, but I don't think we should rate documentaries such as this one. Can you really count how good a film is when we're dealing with human lives? Can you put a 5-star rating on life? I don't think so.
thought provoking, a real insite into what happened on that day that will go down in history, moving, emotional and a real eye opener
These two French filmmakers were filming a documentary on NYC firefighters on the actual day the WTC collapsed!
My husband was a Baltimore City firefighter for 32 years and says no other documentary on the subject will compare!
If you see ANY 9/11 film...this is the one you should see. This film started as a documentary by two French filmmakers on one of the 'probies' of the FDNY. This film contains the only footage of the FIRST plane hitting the towers, then rides along with the first FDNY unit on the scene INSIDE the towers. It is gripping, terrifying, and very sad, and we have made a pilgrimage to watch it on the anniversary every year. Do NOT miss this film
I dont dought that this is moving and rewarding to see but after seeing the news for weeks showing the towers falling I just cant watch it love to all the families who lost someone
A very touching movie, it had the scariest sound i have ever heard, and i have never heard it before or since, it was the sound of someone falling a hundred stories head first, it was so horrific this movie is one of the few that deserved an MA at least im not sure what it was rated..
it shows an amazing veiw on 9/11 the directors take you inside what happens and shows the harsh reality of it.
Some interesting perspectives and footage. But the sort of thing you watch once and never want to see again.
No thanks...I couldn't tear my eyes away from the news coverage when this terrible event occurred. I really couldn't stomach watching it again with that same helpless feeling.
Well it's the story of 9/11. It's not a movie movie but a documentary so it's not so much entertaining as informative.
it really makes you think about what people really went through back when 9/11 occured! BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!
Firefighters, doctors, nurses and other forms of help really do need praise. They do so much to help people through any event in their lives.
I'm pretty sure I saw this as it happened. Like, on the news. And interestingly, bits and pieces of the story dropped off as time went on. Like other bombs going off and such. Anywayzzz...
OMG. i finally saw this film and it's mind boggling! it's so moving, its just unbelievable, seeing the men that were there trying to find people, digging constantly, even after weeks of nothing, they never stopped looking. it's films like this one that make me admire the people of america, i've never seen anyone rally round like that before, people were donating practically all their belongings. what an truly amazing scene, i have the utmost respect for those men. How lucky were the two directors to be able to capture everything first hannd to keep as a reminder to everyone. RIP all those that were given to heaven early. xx
Watching this video, you can't help but admire the courage of NYC firefighters on that terrible day.
As the best first hand account of those tragic events, this is worth viewing for those interested. One for the archives of history.
i just dont like movies based on 9/11 i dont know why, there is no happy ending we all ready know the ending
This was one of the best movies Ive seen in a long time. It shows all live footage of the planes hitting the towers. WONDERFUL movie!
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Another 9/11 movie I've wanted to see since it same out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I want 2 see dis coz it could be funny or it could be boring so Im gonna put dis 5 star because we have 2 try everything in life so lol
I've decided to never watch any of the films made about September 11th. We all had to live through it, it was horrifying, I don't need to go to that tragic place in my free time. Essentially every adult alive today has a fairly clear recollection of the events of 9/11, and it's a consensus that it was a awful, sad, terrible thing. People who keep making films about 9/11 are essentially preaching to the choir.
this is a really good film and i would recomend this to anyone it would be wise to sit and watch may be once or twice to take it may even bring a tear to your eye as we go back to that sad day but it is a good film
the most awesome movies in the whole and tier univers and at the end is just awesome i would hate to be thoughs men and they went though a lot and they saw there friend die and it is one of the most sadest movies but it is good but very very very Sad ( i cried in it)
