This is, simply put, a holiday classic. I remember gathering around the tv as a kid to watch this and Garfield X-Mas special one week then the next Rudolph and Frosty.
This is a great movie for the whole family during Christmas time. It's one of the two movies my entire family will sit down and watch together during the holidays. (The other being Rudolph.) Really good.
Just an adorable and classic, must-see around Christmas time. It really preaches the true meaning of Christmas. Snoopy has always been a favorite of mine!
Simply put, and absolute must-have for any DVD collection, especially if you have kids. If you haven't seen this yet... where the heck have you been hiding?????
My sister's and I have always laughed at the way the kids dance! It's hilarious! But I Love the JESUS message in this, after all, He is the reason for the season no matter how much people try to leave Him out of everything. On "My 5 Star Family Features" list. DVD.
"If I could go back in time, I would meet Snoopy." Okay, that quote isn't from the movie but it's true. I hate Christmas but actually enjoy this movie. It's so sweet and cute and innocent. I enjoy the fact that the kids speak very rhythmically and the adults are completely incoherent. My dream guy every since I was a kid has been Schroeder. He was the comic world's first sensitive musician.
Charlie Brown is depressed about the commericalism of xmas (we all know its run by an eastern syndicate) and searches for the true meaning..classic just not the holidays w/out taking this one in
The best Christmas special ever! Anyone (probably a kid) watching it for the first time probably won't be impressed as most of A Charlie Brown Christmas's charm comes from the memories of being a kid and watching it right before Christmas--Dolly Madison commercials and all. Even though this is mostly based in nostalgia (at least for me) it's the peak of the animation and score (provided by Vince Guaraldi) for the Peanuts. It's still a great piece of animation with a great message. Way ahead of it's time.
Very sweet and charming. Pretty much all Peanuts stuff is great, but this one's outstanding, maybe just because of that one kid doing the funky neck dance.
I LOVE WATCHING CHARLIE BROWN call me a dork but charlie brown is like so awsome i have to watch this for hollaween and christmas i have never missed it and don't ever plan too
