Good legal movie. Great cast and story. I wish it would've turned out differently for them.

I guess I have many thinks to pick out and chew at with "A CIvil Action", then again "William H. Macy" is one thing I can not tear apart, because his acting was "Superb".

Idealy this slow moving, but internaly gripping true-story, legal thriller wasn't as much as a groundbrea...( read more)king expiernce, but more of a painstaking trial and error, and a long waiting time of due process.

If not for "William H. Macy's, Funny, yet Saddeningly touching performance", I might have liked it less.

This Legal Thriller, Courtroom drama, True-Story is a hit and miss powerhouse, and one in which a supporting actor upstages the lead actor(William H. Macy, stealing Travolta's Glory), and in that regard, he made this one great movie to actual sit through."

Just Barely, because of "William H. Macy", this a "Three and a Half Star out of Four" film.

    A Mmodest reccomendation.

A very gripping drama, one of Travolta's best roles of all time.

Yawn-worthy. I've come to the realization that it must be horrible watching legal dramas with me, since I feel the need to comment on what would or would not really happen in a courtroom, which rules have been broken, and whether an attorney would or would not be able to say cert...( read more)ain things during a deposition. I'm a nightmare, really.

This is a film based off of true events about a water contamination case in Woburn, Massachusetts in the 1980s. The film is taken from a book and adapted into this film. The movie has a very strong cast with John Travolta, Robert Duvall, William H. Macy, Tony Shalhoub and John Li...( read more)thgow. A solid story with some great performances. The story is slow at times but worth the watch. Not as good as some other court dramas but still worth a one time watch.

Paul Ben-Victor and Danny Elfman were the reasons I watched it, but it is really good.
