Clockwork is a ride. An acquired taste.
This is Stanley Kubrick's greatest work. An amazing tale about a corrupt society and it's youth. Alex De Large is probably one of the most memorable protagonists ever put on screen. The question of his true motives are never quite clear. Malcolm McDowell just completely dominates...( read more)
Stomping, whomping, stealing, tap-dancing, violating. does anybody want moloko?
Great film. It's like a Gothic cult classic. Many misfits should enjoy this classic. Anyone feeling rebellious or questioning their morality should see this. Crime is fun, but still comes with consequences. It will leave you wondering and asking..."what just happened?" in a jaw-d...( read more)
Apologia de la violencia. NO ME GUSTA por mucho que la quieran disfrazar de arte.
Haunting and very disturbing. I appreciate every minute of the movie!
Seen it about three, four, maybe five times, and I feel as though I need to see it more times to truly appreciate it.
Stanley Kubrick's best movie
plot: a holligan named Alex and his gang of droogs like ultra-violence , rape and classical music is a awsome plot
His best movie
Not as great as the novel, although does possess a clearer communication of the plot. Kubrick's meticulous attention to Alex's dystopian world is stunning.
This film just grows on me everyyime I watch it. I'm actually suprised this is my first review I've seen it a couple of times. The blending of beautiful classical music while Alex and his gang rumble billy boys gang is probably the best fight scene ever filmed. Not to mention the...( read more)
Minus the disturbing nature of the main character, the movie was really good and definitely makes you think about society and the government.
I still can't believe Alex is Mr. Linderman from Heroes. His acting in this movie was amazing!
"Welly, welly, welly, welly, welly, welly, well. To what do I owe the extreme pleasure of this surprising visit?"

It's well-made, the acting is good, pretty true to the book.........but its just disturbing. The plot is creepy, and there is never a character you can attach yourself to. Very true to the book, yet the book was better. The sex references were too much, and the nudity was drastic...( read more)
An extraordinary film masterpiece by the great Stanley Kubrick, with an exquisite star-making performance by Malcolm McDowell. A must-see, glorious, fierce, exhilarating an artistic triumph.
From beginning to end, a masterpiece like no other.
The imagery; beautiful classical music, exquisite art and mesmerizing views, all backdrops for 'ultra-violence' and brutal acts that would is terrifying, yet fascinating.
Alex and his Droogs, the beautiful lingo that Burgess...( read more)
A disturbingly well made film on moral ethics. The screenplay is one of a kind.
On one side you feel completely disgusted with the main actor, while on the other you feel compassionate towards him.
There's no right or wrong, just a question of morality that this film bri...( read more)
Let's face it... movies adapted/based on novels rarely live up to my expectations. This however was one of the few exceptions.
Such a great fucking movie. Well done, well done. Fucking weird and also a tad confusing as hell, but a good story behind it. Alex and his droogies were a quite fucked up bunch. They're addicted to rape, milk, crime, and violence. Such fun to watch. Though I prefer the book much ...( read more)
I don't care what ANY of you eunuch jelly thou thinks of this masterpiece, cuz if you can't viddy a cine of ultra-violence and the raping of free will, to make a rebuke on governmental over-haul, you must be under their watchful eye, with the content fherefore of it! This movie i...( read more)
After a second viewing, I regret everything I said about it the first time. But, still, it's not my cup of tea.
This is quite a movie. It made me laugh a lot and Malcolm McDowell was really good. He's sooo young and I use to seing him older. It was a fun movie.
A Clockwork Orange
A master stroke by Kubrik to expose these concepts to the masters of evil ? like you and me, the sinners in mans natural process in humanities progression.
It`s a great classic contemporary film with plenty of art deco and artistic violence springing the horm...( read more)
