Sitting in a Detroit bar with his brother Nick and watching the Howling Diablos quite literally set the stage ablaze, Brancaleone began to wonder just what it takes to make it as a musician in such a highly competitive environment, and what happens when stardom proves elusive. Over the course of five years, the Brancaleone brothers followed 25 bands. Twelve of those bands wound up making it into the documentary, including Twistin Tarantulas, Howling Diablos, Queen Bee, and a then-unknown rapper named Bob Richie, who would soon top the charts under his better-known moniker Kid Rock. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
