Shortly after arriving in Los Angeles to take a momentary reprieve from her failing marriage and spend some time with old friends, Ryoko Shimura (Naomi Kawashima) is abducted by the delusional Andrew Martini (Josh Brauer), a man still reeling from an East-West love affair and who believes Ryoko to be the reincarnation of the Japanese lover who abandoned him.
