Donald Sutherland plays a naive schoolteacher who apparently didn't notice the problems of Apartheid in South Africa. Overall kinda weak, but the acting is brilliant, especially from Marlon Brando and Jurgen Prochnow.

A look at the brutality and sin of apartheid era Suid Afrika. Donald Sutherland plays quite possibly the most naive Afrikaner ever born. I am not sure how possible it would be to live in the state of oblivion his character has been in. But hey, there you have it. A decent period...( read more)

Pretty good film. Quite similar to "Biko" with Kevin Kline and Denzel Washington (which I somehow recall being more enjoyable). I believe this one is the darker of the two.

Good film. Brando has a small role which he plays quite well. Sutherland is very good.

Waste of TIME!! Very Weak movie, DO NOT WATCH, if you do end up watching it, side effects may include: Suicide, murder ramapages, road ramapage, any kinds of ways of harming yourself, and many others...
