    Hehe, after all these years, this movie still cracks me up. Slightly 'Shakespear-esque', modern day rock n roll, cool soundtrack, good acting, story and script. Filled with quirky characters and witty lines, I thought it was quite a riot! There was 1 thing I couldnt really take about this movie though.. and Ill leave it with this quote.

    "There she is, William. The embodiment of love. Your Venus!"

    A Knight's Tale was a lot of fun to watch; you have nice jousting scenes that will make you cheer along with the crowd with a funny dialogue set in the old times with a mix of modern songs....

    all the cast were ok; Paul Bettany was disgustingly good but i think Heath Ledger wa...( read more)s a little bit dull playing his role in this film. all in all it's a nice movie to watch if you were in a good mood.

    I really like this story. Great actors (at least goodlooking). A funny and romantic movie mixed with just a tiny bit of action at times.

    ...( read more)eath Ledger knocked out one of director Brian Helgeland's front teeth with a broomstick when the two were demonstrating a jousting move. It was several months before Helgeland's mouth had healed enough to repair the damage. He says it was the only jousting injury during filming.

    Painfully over-hyped. I know it?s not meant to be taken historically seriously and its meant to be 'A bit of fun' but quite frankly it?s a very weak film with such a light sprinkling of fun that I would rather watch a repeat of 'It?s a Royal Knockout'!

    As "The Dark Knight" swings into theaters this weekend, I couldn't help thinking about Heath's first blockbuster, "A Knights Tale". His star potential was undeniable in this film. He gave a wonderful heartwarming performance and the film itself was entertaining from start to fini...( read more)sh. Thanks to a great and comical supporting cast and the awesome jousting sequences. I love this film.

    A very funny and enjoyable movie. Heath Ledger is such a joy to watch. The cast is likable and works really well together. Paul Bettany is brilliant as Geoffrey Chaucer. I loved the modern-day anachronisms; I think they did exactly what the director wanted and brought the mood an...( read more)d excitement of the Middle Ages to the average viewer. The flashbacks, though (sort of) necessary for the plot, are a drag. A more interesting female lead would probably have made that part of the story much more interesting.

    If you can get past the totally absurd/nonsequiter sound track, ypu will realize that this film was actually pretty good! The music works, the acting is good & you really find yourself routing for this guy!
