I didn't think I would like this movie but it turned into one of my favorites. I really like the idea of it and I enjoyed Aston Kutcher more than I thougt I would.
"Ill be there for you
These five words I swear to you
When you breathe I want to be the air for you
Ill be there for you
Id live and Id die for you
Steal the sun from the sky for you
Words cant say what a love can do
Ill be there for you...!
n the surface it avoids all the usual romantic comedy clichés. In fact, for most of it's running time, A Lot Like Love's protagonists spend their brief moments together deliberately avoiding love. On paper the film seems like a fresh, inspired take on romance stories, but when you get right down in it, it's not.
Nice redo of idea first explored in "when harry met sally". quite enjoyed it really especially with ashton kutcher in a role that doesnt require him to do faces every two seconds
Love this movie for its content as well as the place I was when I watched it. I was spending my last night in Alaska and on my way out of the state, I stopped in a small town, found a movie rental, watched it on my 6 inch DVD player and was happy as a clam!!! Brings back good memories obviously!
I know Kutcher isn't a good actor, but Amanda Peet is. The story about love that isn't the classic "love at first sight" could captivate you. A little chick flicky, but with a good development of the story and the relationship between the characters.
i really really liked this film. again i dont really like ashton kutcher but this film of his i really did like, but i think its more to do with amanda peet who's just fucking stunning in this film. but i also love the story of it. its a great love story told old in a good way. its just a great film... going to watch again...
