    Standard romcom. The acting is above par, I've always liked Amanda Peet. Ashton even does a decent job.

    Hate romcoms, but this is the one I like. Beautiful story, amazing chemistry, not cheesy at all and very romantic.

It was actually a real moment between Amanda Peet and Ashton Kutcher, which the director decided to use for the film afterwards.

    I just can't resist, i could watch this movie over and over again.
    Amanda Peet and Ashton Kutcher are incredible amazing together.
    The idea of stay together in the end, no matter what happens, and even they're...( read more) apart for a long time... makes me feel good for some reason. It's really funny and i always walked out with a smile.
    The soundtrack is awesome.

    This one of my favorite "guilty pleasure/watch when I'm depressed" films.

    I'm not a fan of Ashton and even though he always plays the man boy roles with much irritation he was pretty tolerable here.

    The real star is Amanda Peet who gives a luminous and inspired performance as t...( read more)he girl who always gets away. She has more gigawatts in her smile and her eyes than most actresses can muster in a lifetime.

    There is palpable chemistry between Amanda and Ashton. Something tells me she would have considerable chemistry with a lump of coal. Their banter and easy comfort with each other makes you root for them to get together. Amanda Peet is the girl you could fall in love with and lust after constantly.

    This movie also takes place in my favorite decade of the 90's and has great allusions to the somewhat naive time. Hard to believe we were that naive just a few years ago, right?

    The film also features a kick ass soundtrack and benefits from great direction and cinematography.

    I should watch this one again, soon.

    Loved the movie. The romantic type, but also fun between the lines. Amanda Peet and Ashton Kutcher do a good couple and the touchers of romanticism does not get into the too sweet.

    Usually liking movies Ashton and Amanda are in I wanted to like this movie. After reading the promo though I was quite skeptical - with good reason. This film was horrible. I don't blame the actors as they had decent chemistry and carried out their roles, but the writing was w...( read more)eak, the plot ridiculous, and it made horrible use of music (ruining some otherwise good songs). There also seemed moments where the director had the actors ad-lib and the attempts at humor in these spots was just lame. Thumbs down.
