Betrayed by a smuggler who sat idly by as her family was casually slaughtered by the SS, terrified Sara (Louise Monot) flees into the comforting care of childhood summer-vacation chum Jean (Jeremie Renier) and his faithful lover Philippe (Bruno Todeschini).
