A Man Alone
When a gunfighter is accused of murder--as well as stagecoach robbery--and ready to be lynched by an angry mob, he lays low in the sheriff's house while figuring out the truth with the lawman's daughter (Mary Murphy). Ray Milland starred in the film, and it was his directorial debut as well. Raymond Burr also appeared in Man Alone, playing a corrupt banker.
