A Nightmare on Elm Street Reviews and Ratings

  • February 8, 2010
The new Freddy Kruger looks like Voldermort from Harry Potter...strike one without even seeing it!

...I'm totally going to see this regardless of how bad and Robert Englund-less it may be.

I have waited for a remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street for so many long years and now it's finally happening! I just hope it will come to Sweden, I will seriously go to the closest country just to get to see this at the cinema.

I "REALLY" WANT TO SEE THIS!!!
  • December 24, 2009
I read the script - here's hoping they make it work. I think this movie has enormous potential for success if people are willing to give it a chance and not judge the story based on the trailer alone. Remember with NOES films, nothing is ever as obvious as it seems.

What, again? The creaky old horror franchise gets the back to basics treatment that reinvigorated Star Trek. Razor fingered child of a thousand maniacs Freddy Krueger has a new face, provided by Hollywood's psycho du jour Jackie Earle Haley, last seen monotoning his way through W...( read more)atchmen.

i didnt think this one was as good as the other ones i thought the acting was pretty good but the principle was nearlly the same as the 3rd one where they team up in the dreams to fight him but was good learning more about what freddie became freddie
  • October 14, 2009
Looks good but should not have been made
  • October 12, 2009
I love it when they make new scary movies to add to old franchises. I loved em in the 80's and Ill love em again if they are good.
  • October 12, 2009
I hate all the other Freddy films but i want to see the remake. At least it doesn't come out until 2010 so i have time to prepare myself to watch it.
  • October 7, 2009
    What a piece of crap
  • October 6, 2009
Hopefully it's as good as the preview looks. Freddy's voice isnt the same though but I guess they are trying to bring out the fear and scary side of Freddy rather then the fear and comedy. I cannot wait to see this film.

I do want to see it... but there will never ever ever ever ever be a better nightmare on elmstreet then the one that Wes Craven directed.
AND! I can't even imagine a better Freddy then the one that Robert Englund put down in the original...

soooo exciting news.. what will this ...( read more)Nightmare on elmstreet do..?

Is it going to be a shame to the Nightmare on Elmstreet saga, or will it be so awesome that it will fly high above the others?

  • September 28, 2009
hmm... im torn to see this movie.
Fready Krueger isnt going to be played by Robert Englund anymore, hes been the only person to play character ever.. thats depressing.
  • September 28, 2009
Kyle Gallner and Jackie Earle Haley = good.

A godawful trailer that comes across as a parody of the first two ANOES films = bad.

I WANT TO SEE THIS MOVIE WHEN IT COMES OUT. THIS IS THE REMAKE
  • August 5, 2009
Why do they kept making remakes of good Horror movies when mostly all today horror remakes suck and just pointless
  • August 4, 2009
    it could be good maybe
  • August 4, 2009
A nightmare on elm street without Robert Englund? I can't really see how that would work. I mean, Vorheese and Myers, fine, they were a mask and don't really have a personality, a lot more easier to change. But Englund IS Freddy Krueger. Still, as a fan I will watch it.

THE GUY WHO PLAYED RORSCHACH IN THE WATCHMEN PLAYING FREDDY KRUEGER. SOUNDS DARK.

  • June 22, 2009
I Liked Jackie Earle Haley From Watchmen I Hope He Will Do Sucessful In This Movie As Freddy Krueger
  • June 5, 2009
I read the script for this movie and can honesty tell you that this movie will not be worth seeing in the theater. The casting job has been done all wrong and the story has been completely re-written and is almost nothing like it originally intended to be. I am disappointed and ...( read more)will NOT be going to see this movie when it comes out.

The only thing worse than crappy suck-ass sequels is crappy suck-ass "re-imagings". Is Hollywood really out of original ideas?
