it's a little better than the second one...but still nowhere near as good as the first. this one involves a bunch of youngsters in an asylum battling freddy with the return of a familiar face to aid them. it's got some pretty nifty kill scenes and definitely worth a watch for fans of the franchise.
definately one of the best Nightmares ever. Robert of course does his part, Nancy (heather Langenkamp) makes a return as well as John Saxon. Laurence Fishburne also has a role but never fights Fred... too bad
A Nightmare on Elm Street 3 - Dream Warriors is about Freddy Krueger continues his murdering, the kids, led by Freddie's main opponent in the first film, prepare to fight back. the death scenes were inventive. this film bought the freddy with the humour that would follow into the other films
robert englund play as freddy krueger who reprise all each trilogy the boogeyman killer in teenagers's dream. this time he killer at psychiatric ward hospital. reprise heather langenkamp and john saxon(both from original)as nancy and her father donald.
freddy became a pupple and teenager's vein giving out is creepin me out. patricia arquette film debut.
i love this movie.. it doesnt try and be anything but what it is.. a popcorn horror thats great 2 watch with a group of m8's. Great to see Heather Langenkamp back as Nancy.
One of the better Nightmare movies, Nancy returning for this one was a highlight not to mention the battle with skeleton Freddy near the end and one of my favorite Freddy deaths.
An excellent sequel. Easilly the 2nd best in the Nightmare franchise and in actuality if it weren't for the last 15 minutes I might dare say it would've been better than the original. Its a fantastic script, with very good performances.
This film actually introduced the world to Lawrence Fishburn and Patricia Arquette!
Nancy's back! Whoo-hoo! I like how this began the passing of torches somewhat with Nancy, then Kristin, then Alice. They dont just show up out of nowhere from one movie to the other. This was probably the last creepy Freddy movie, even if this one has some "chuckles" with the death scenes. Some really bad animation at the end, does a disservice to an otherwise pretty solid movie.
Chuck Russell (from The Mask) takes over and directs an action pack version of Dream Warriors ? this time, a new group of teenagers are going to fight against Freddy in their own rules.
The last few kids from Elm Street are now at a psychiatric ward. Returning in the 2nd sequel is Nancy Thompson, survivor from the first movie now becomes a dream researcher will help these kids to face against Freddy? but will it be enough for her and her courage to face him once more?
It?s unexpected, different and now we get to see more action, Freddy Krueger faces a whole new group of teenagers, tougher and harder to scare to fuel their fear into him. It?s a definite sequel for everyone to enjoy more. Patricia Arquette and Laurence Fishburne stars, giving this hysterical fun horror scare fest to the next level fans will enjoy.
This is the best of the sequels. The murders are nasty too. Head through the telly screen, falling off buildings, etc.
It was great how the Elm Street children could use their dreaming to fight Freddy. But the others are all but trashy. I still like em' as part of the series, but they still aren't up to much.
The Dream Warriors has a strong black guy, a magician, a knife wielding chick, and a guy who yells to defeat Krueger. It is okay and is easily the best in the series.
wow freddy krueger is so kewl 4 a movie villian...this is just so much better than part 2..this is more enjoyable than part 2 of freddy krueger because this has a better plot line than part2...this is a good thriller movie i think robert england is just so good as freddy because he plays him really well...tis a whole load of funn 2 watch this movie its really enjoyable n its got some really kewl special effects throughout the movie...
