As far as run of the mill thrillers go that feature a non too surprising twist I kinda liked it. Nothing to ever watch again but entertaining enough to not have me constantly looking at the running time.

It's the perfect cocktail of edge of your seat suspense from the beginning right to it's mind-blowing conclusion. A gripping, spellbinding and utterly shocking thriller that will have your pulse racing and your adrenaline pumping all the way through. A well-crafted and stunningly...( read more) performed film. It's loaded with big jolts and surprises that will leave you breathless. An explosive and sizzling thrill-ride that's truly unforgettable. An adventure thriller that packs relentless twist and turns and thrilling action. It will probably be considered one day as a cult classic. A great all-star cast. Millia Jovovich and Steve Zahn are terrific. Timothy Olyphant is sensational.

Really? Really?! We're supposed to run with this? I spent the entire beginning of the film telling myself that they wouldn't go with the obvious, stupid twist... the Hollywood and especially David Twohy would respect their audience a bit more than that by now... but no. The t...( read more)ime comes for the reveal and you are slapped across the face with full bore dumbassery. I nearly threw a shoe at my TV, and I LOVE my TV.

The one positive thing I can think to say is that, for once, I didn't dislike Timothy Olyphant. He was actually decent.

Some day Timothy Olyphant will land a role in a good movie and the world will ask "Where has this guy been hiding?" In this film he is mysterious. He has a badass history, carries a knife, kills an animal, and has a steel plate in his head. But he is also a nice, thoughtful guy. ...( read more)It's the back and forth of his mysterious goodness and badness that creates the only interesting tension in this film. And since Olyphant is a good actor his character makes for the only enjoyable aspect of the film?besides some beautiful photography of Hawaii.

It's a big twist! But it's completely unfeasible. So unfeasible that the film spends thirty minutes of inexplicably black and white night visioned flashback recreations to try and make the case anyway. If a film has to spend an inordinate amount of time defending a twist, it's not a very good twist. I felt completely disrespected by the script. Insulted. Thrillers with twists are supposed to be somewhat mysterious throughout. This one deliberately misleads its audience in a patronizing manner, and only attempts such nonsense because it thinks its audience is gullible and stupid. Well ... right back at ya, Perfect. Getaway from me.

Timothy Olephant kicked ass in this one. Sometimes these thrillers with twists outdo themselves and it comes out one jumbled mess, but this was well put together. What I thought was a solid ending dragged on a little long, but overall pleasantly surprised.

it was a good movie. i did not think that they were the couple that did all the killing. the ending of the movie had most of the action which made the ending so good.
