A Tiger Walks
After a tiger kills its trainer and escapes from the circus, a young girl is motivated to try and save its life. After gaining support from children across the country, it becomes a political issue and the tiger may have a chance, after all. Perhaps inconsistent with most of Disney's family-oriented pictures--especially at the time--this drama paints a more grim and possibly more realistic portrait of the American small town and the machinations of local politics.
