i wathc this movie on the first day showing wow it feel like watching a premiere night.and i got to say this movie of many moore is well worth it to watch
Amazing film, I watched this when I was young and was very surprised to find out later on after finding a love of Nicholas Sparks that this too was a film made in honor of a Romance novel created by the genius who brought us the touching romance 'The Notebook'
I love the storyline, its original... its not just outsider of a girl gets handsome popular guy to fall in love with her, its so much more than that ( I wont spoil it for anyone who wants to watch it ) there's way much more to this story and believe me I was weeping, it's movies like this that make you wish reality was a movie set.
I really like this movie. It's cliche, but such a cute story. I definitely cried the first time I saw it. The book is different, but it's not a bad thing.

Too bad the girl thought God wanted only happiness for her. Joy comes from obedience. Shouldn't have compromised by dating a boy who didn't share her faith.
Only problem here is she says she thinks God wants her to be happy so she date a nonchristian boy. God is more concerned w/ lasting joy than temporary happiness

i'm such a loser for not watching this movie earlier..believe it or not i just watched this movie this year and it's not even willingly ...just watched this to kill the time (first purpose)..but i was shocked when i liked the movie...it just touched my heart..it's so sad but worth the watch..another two thumbs up!!
OMG!!! NO WAY! THIS IS MY ALLTIME FAVORITE MOVIE! If you haven't seen this, you are missing out. Wow, the book is also very good. Nicolas Sparks is an awesome author, and I'm so glad that they turned his book into a movie. :]
Ok so this is totally my all time favorite movie! Its just so interesting. Great story line. ANd to all who havent seen it GO WATCH IT! lol Oh and Shane West is the hottest! I Love the song mandy sings in the movie. Its just so beautiful.
A sad,sweet story.Not my favorite for I'm not gun-hoe about dramas but it was nice I shed a few tears as I always do during sad movies. I recommend you drama freaks to watch it.
This was a very touching movie, about young love. Manny Moore was excellent, her beautiful voice and courage really made this movie great. It goes to show never judge a book, by it's cover. Never assume a person is one way, until you know better. This is a must see for any High School Student in love, it will leave a lasting impression upon your heart and soul and show you there is much to love. Love as complicated as it is can be a wonderful thing, as so long as you love unconditionally and except your lover as is and never try to change them into something that they aren't. In the end, maybe you can experience the type of love that lasts forever, in your heart, mind and soul.
i can say it's the greatest love story i'ved ever seen....and also because it's the first movie that i actually caught my brother sheding a tear, awww... how touching.....
The part that hit home for me was Jamie's will to live her last years/days on Earth at Peace as she was, and to do the things that she had set as goals. I also admire her devotion to her religion and her morals.
This is such a sad movie, I just can't believe that the first place I saw it was YouTube. This movie is just how i want to start going out with a guy, be friends with them first then start going out, Idk why but that just seems sweeter and it seems like you don't have to jump as far.
