Later, she returns to pick him up, only to be told that no patient with that name was ever registered at the hospital. Frantic, Mary turns to the police, who merely patronize her after discovering that she has a history of mental illness. I liked Brittany Murphy that's why I watched this even though it is an underrated movie.

I enjoyed this one. Especially the first 45 minutes, then it got a little too strange. Now knowing that it was Brittany Murphany's last movie, I thought it was a pretty successful last film. There were some goods twists in here, too!

Designed to be a "made for TV (Lifetime) type of drama"... the late Brittany Murphy pulls out all stops to find out what happened to her boyfriend that she has dropped off at a hospital, for knee surgery. During her search she accidentally bumps into a police detective that has just left there after having a physical examination done. Despite the twists and turns of how the story unfolds...the hospital administration almost has he committed into the mental ward...all because they don't want to (and can't) find proof that he was actually there!!! Truly enjoyable...even thought it was a budget made for tv type of film.

Reminds me very much of Flightplan... you don't know if her boyfriend is made up or not because he is missing. Is it a conspiracy or is she crazy? The acting is quite cruddy... scratch that, it is TERRIBLE.... but Brittany does a decent job and everyone else... especially the boyfriend and the nurse "Amanda" are just plain awful. It was okay but they could have cast it better.

The reason I wanted to see Abandoned was, I wanted to see Brittany Murphy in her last movie.It was so sad that being her last movie, it turned to be so bad.Its was without doubt one of the worst movies I have ever saw, there was no script or direction or sense to it. The production value was so low that I was amazed how Britney Murphy even agreed to act in here. There was nothing for her to do, her acting was poor and she looked terribly, with oily hair and her make up was bad. She looked quit thin and weak. All the other supporting cast was horrible and Dean Cain should be ashamed of himself to perform so bad in here. Britney Murphy was a great actress it's so sad that she was gone so early.

Pretty good, held my attention. Watched this movie for Britt. RIP girl!!
